Chief Technology Officer
Martin J. Miner is the Chief Technology Officer at Michael Baker International. In this role, he leads all facets of the firm’s technology including the Information Technology Services (ITS) organization and the Technology & Innovation Practice.
Mr. Miner brings more than two decades of military experience and nearly 30 years of professional experience in leadership positions that span system development and deployment, operations and program management. He has extensive IT enterprise architecture, governance and program/project management experience with a strong focus on innovation, driving growth and creating differentiated value propositions for clients.
Prior to joining Michael Baker International, Mr. Miner served in numerous roles at Leidos. He joined the company in 1997 and progressed through several leadership positions of increasing responsibility, including the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Mr. Miner also served as an Officer in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years, followed by 14 years in the Air Force Reserves, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Mr. Miner is an active member of his community, contributing his time to such organizations as Rebuilding Together, Hearts & Hammers, Habitat for Humanity, the Child Rescue Center and Mercy Hospital in Sierra Leone. He holds B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the United States Air Force Academy and a M.S. in Operations Research from the Air Force Institute of Technology, Graduate School of Engineering and Management. He is also a graduate of the Executive Program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
