Senior Vice President and Regional Director of the Southeast Region
Jennifer C. Lewis, P.E., is Senior Vice President and Regional Director of Michael Baker International’s Southeast Region, which includes Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee. Her primary responsibilities include regional leadership, business and strategy development, resource allocation and acquisition, and the overall growth, profitability and efficiency of the offices.
Jennifer has 22 years of transportation-related engineering experience and has served in both operations and business development roles for the majority of her career. She has a track record and background in project management, having managed and overseen some of the largest highway and bridge projects in Florida. Her experience includes highway design, interchange design, capacity improvement projects and major alternative delivery projects.
Jennifer holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida. She is a licensed professional civil engineer in Florida. She is also a certified professional in the Advanced Traffic Control, Project Development and Environmental (PD&E) and Specifications package development. Jennifer is a member of the Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers (FICE) and is currently serving on the Florida Transportation Committee and the Florida Expressway Authority Liaison Subcommittee. Previously, she served as the vice president of the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS). Her additional professional affiliations include the Florida Engineering Society (FES), American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) and Design Build Institute of America (DBIA).
