Senior Vice President and Regional Director of the West Region
Michael J. Conaboy is Senior Vice President and Regional Director of Michael Baker International’s West Region, which includes Arizona, California, Nevada, Washington, and Hawaii. He will focus on leading operations for the West Region and is responsible for regional leadership, resource allocation, and the overall profitability and efficiency of the nearly 20 offices regional offices.
Mr. Conaboy has been with Michael Baker for 23 years and brings a strong operations background and proven record of collaboration and building business with clients across the company. He most recently served as Michael Baker’s National Practice Lead for Water and was previously the Office Executive for New York and New Jersey.
Mr. Conaboy has volunteered his time and expertise to numerous organizations including: the American Society of Civil Engineers; the American Council of Engineering Companies; Engineers Without Borders; and the Association of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers. He also has served as an adjunct professor of hydrology and hydraulics for graduate-school programs at Drexel University and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pa.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Drexel University and a Master of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
