"Golfing with a Cause" - Camarillo Office Sponsors the 9th Annual APWA Golf Tournament

October 24, 2014

On Friday, October 24, the Camarillo office once again sponsored and participated in the Annual Golf Tournament for the Ventura County Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA).

Camarillo Office Manager, Matthew Vernon, and Los Angeles Area Transportation Manager, Gene Bougdanos, golfed with two of their clients in support of the APWA Scholarship and Student Outreach Fund (all tournament proceeds are for the benefit of this fund).

The APWA Scholarship Program/Fund is designed to promote and ensure continuation of a high level skill, talent, and professionalism in public works careers. Scholarships are available to local high school students entering college or university in a public works related major. Selection of the scholarships is based on the academic achievements of the student and his/her expressed interest to pursue a career in a public works related field.
