During the month of December, the Ridgeland, Mississippi office successfully completed a  charity drive for the Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital’s “Adopt-a-Floor” program.  Through the charitable donations of our staff, Michael Baker International successfully adopted 5 full floors at the hospital by delivering over 1,750 individually wrapped snacks for patients and their families.
Batson Children’s Hospital, the only Children’s hospital in the State of Mississippi, serves thousands of patients annually, with many of them receiving treatment that requires them to spend countless hours, days or even months at the facility.  Through the Hospital’s program, Michael Baker’s staff fulfilled a mission to lessen the burden as the families go through their journey.  The Adopt-a-Floor program allowed Michael Baker to help patient’s families by donating pre-packaged, individually wrapped snacks that will be served each week, on every floor, to the families.  Approximately 350 snacks are needed each week, per floor.
