Michael Baker team member named President-Elect of SMPS in D.C.

Congratulations to Pipper Mosley, CPSM, LEED Green Associate whose recent professional appointment demonstrates her dedication to serving the architecture/engineering/construction (A/E/C) industry. Mosley, business development manager of the architecture practice, in Michael Baker International’s Alexandria, Va., office, was named President-Elect of the Washington, D.C., chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS). Her term begins in September.
The Washington, D.C., chapter is the largest chapter of SMPS representing over 6,500 marketing and business development professionals from leading architectural, engineering, planning, interior design, construction, and specialty consulting firms throughout the United States and Canada.
Prior to this appointment, Mosley had been actively involved in the Society leadership on a local chapter, regional and national level. She has served in various leadership roles within SMPS as a Board of Directors member, published author, program lecturer, mentor and committee chair. Mosley is an SMPS Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) and currently serves on the national certification committee.
“I’m excited to help bring new and innovative industry-specific best practices, programs and networking opportunities to not only our current membership, but to a growing peer audience. This includes technical Sellers-Doers who may be charged with business- and client-development activities for the first time in addition to their technical responsibilities,” said Mosley.
Mosley joined Michael Baker in June 2016 and is also a member of the U.S. Green Building Council – National Capital Region.
