A gaming and hospitality complex on 49 acres was completed for the United Auburn Indian Community and Station Casino in two phases of construction. The first phase, Thunder Valley Casino, offers 2,000 slot machines, 100 gaming tables, four 8,000 square foot restaurants, a 500-seat buffet, and a separate food court. VIP gaming entertainment is provided in private upscale gaming rooms. A waste water treatment plant and fire station were also constructed to accommodate municipality requirements.
Phase II provided an additional 80,000 square feet of gaming floor space with approximately 1,800 slots, a 30,000 square foot luxury spa & fitness facility, and 30,000 square feet of convention/meeting space. In addition to the casino expansion, a new 637-room hotel tower features penthouse suites and high roller suites. A 5,000-space parking garage provides the needed parking for casino guests and employees. Michael Baker provided Executive Architect services for both phases, collaborating with associate architects on design.
