Michael Baker International Reaccredited as Authorized Provider of IACET Continuing Education Credits

Prestigious Accreditation Ranks Firm with the Best-of-the-Best and Demonstrates Commitment to High-Quality Training

Pittsburgh (January 24, 2017) - Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, planning and consulting services, today announced the firm re-earned Accredited Provider status from the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). This recognition coincides with the firm’s renewed strategic focus and investment in HR, including talent training and development and further positions it to provide best-in-class learning and continuing education programs for clients and team members. This is the second time the firm has earned this five-year accreditation.

IACET is a non-profit association and the only standard-setting organization approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for continuing education and training. To achieve reaccreditation status, Michael Baker underwent a rigorous, extensive hands-on evaluation process and site visit to ensure its learning programs, curriculum, structural support and instructors adhere to the standards established by IACET and are focused on the learner applying their acquired knowledge back in the workplace. During this process, Michael Baker also had the opportunity to benchmark its operations against ANSI/IACET standards to reinvigorate any needed aspect of its continuing education and training operations. The accreditation period extends for five years and includes all programs offered or created during that timeframe.
