Pittsburgh (March 12, 2014) - The Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), the largest provider of higher education in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, has selected Michael Baker Jr., Inc. (an engineering unit of Michael Baker International, LLC), for a two-year, open-end construction management (CM) services contract, renewable for up to two consecutive renewals of two years each. The contract demonstrates the Company’s continued growth in delivering comprehensive vertical construction services for the education market segment.
“We are extremely pleased to have been selected for this important contract,” said Baker’s Anthony Fitzpatrick, P.E., CCM, project manager. “We look forward to continuing our long-standing relationship with PASSHE which dates to 2001, in support of their efforts to improve facilities infrastructure for the entire state-wide university system.
