PITTSBURGH (May 4, 2021) – The Baker-Stanley-Cardno Joint Venture (JV), formed by Michael Baker International, Stanley Consultants and Cardno, announced today that it will support worldwide U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force facility and infrastructure requirements through the “AE Next – Pool 4” Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract awarded by the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC). The $2 billion AE Next IDIQ will span up to 10 years. Led by Michael Baker International, the Baker-Stanley-Cardno JV will provide the Air Force, Space Force and other federal agencies with access to the strength of three leading architecture and engineering (AE) firms and the full spectrum of their world-class planning, design, and consulting capabilities.

The Baker-Stanley-Cardno JV was a leading service provider on AFCEC’s AE13 contract, which expired in September of 2020. The new AE Next Pool 4 contract will commence in Q2 2021. Pool 4 is available to support Military Construction (MILCON) and Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) projects focused on facility construction and renovation and general infrastructure requirements.
