Michael Baker International Named to 2016 Great Place to Work® List

Exceptional Team Member Feedback Earns Company Certification as a Great Workplace

Pittsburgh (October 4, 2016) - Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, planning and consulting services, was certified as a great workplace by the independent analysts at Great Place to Work®. The company earned this credential based on extensive ratings provided by its team members in anonymous surveys. This is the first time the company has been recognized by the program.
 
Great Place to Work is a recognition program that conducts the largest workplace culture study in the world, with 6,000 companies participating. The process includes the analysis of responses from workplace satisfaction surveys that were sent to Michael Baker team members this summer. The positive feedback earned Michael Baker recognition as a Great Place to Work employer.

According to the study, 74 percent of Michael Baker team members say it is a great workplace and 84 percent take great pride in working at the company. Ninety-three percent feel challenged by their work. Michael Baker received high rankings for other engagement categories that include: great atmosphere; great communication; great bosses; and great rewards, among other key attributes.
