Pittsburgh (March 18, 2015) - The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Kansas City District recently awarded Michael Baker International and joint venture partner, O’Brien & Gere, with a Pre-Placed Remedial Action Contract (PRAC). The contract carries a value of up to $185 million and includes indefinite quantity of services over a three-year period with a two-year option. This opportunity allows Michael Baker International to expand its environmental remediation services within the USACE Northwestern District and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Region 2.
The OBG | Baker Federal Solutions team will support multiple-task orders related to hazardous, toxic and radioactive waste remediation projects. PRACs address environmental response actions and associated investigation, design, and removal activities mandated by various federal and Department of Defense cleanup programs, including Superfund, Base Realignment and Closure, Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program, and Defense Environmental Restoration Program.
