As Business Development Executive of the Private Sector for Michael Baker’s Texas and Southeast Regions, Ford Hubbard leads the Integrated Design and Advisory (IDA) business vertical strategy, driving growth and excellence in delivering full-service architecture and engineering solutions. His role focuses on expanding Michael Baker’s presence in mission-critical and data center sectors, as well as advanced manufacturing and industrial markets. Based in Texas, Mr. Hubbard collaborates with IDA’s core and private sector market leads to execute strategic business planning and development across the region.
Mr. Hubbard brings over 25 years of experience in the architecture, engineering and construction industry. Prior to joining Michael Baker, he held leadership roles at Jacobs Global Buildings as Division Vice President and Non-Federal Market Sales Lead, and at Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum (HOK) as Senior Vice President. His career has been defined by strategic growth initiatives, client engagement and pursuit leadership across sectors, including corporate, industrial, aerospace, life sciences, higher education and energy.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hubbard has led numerous high-impact projects. At Jacobs, he spearheaded global engagements with Shell Oil Company, Chevron, Nokia, Bell Helicopter and ExxonMobil, generating multimillion-dollar revenues and securing major wins across continents. His leadership at HOK included landmark projects such as the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia, Baylor College of Medicine Hospital and Clinic in Houston and the USAA Phoenix Campus. These projects showcase his ability to coordinate multi-office teams, develop integrated design strategies, and deliver complex solutions at scale.

He brings a collaborative spirit, deep industry knowledge and a passion for delivering innovative solutions that align with client goals and elevate project outcomes. Mr. Hubbard holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture/Fine Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and is affiliated with the Urban Land Institute.
