Jenn is a Project Manager/Product Owner for AstreaX, part of Michael Baker International’s family of companies. After more than 20 years working for financial institutions, she made the leap to the technology field in 2022 and hasn’t looked back.
Jenn was excited to step out of her comfort zone and provide hands-on assistance in partnership with the Fika team. Based in Tempe, Arizona, she spends as much time as possible with her friends and family, while also enjoying quiet time with her two rescue dogs. In her free time, Jenn enjoys baking, reading, hiking and paddleboarding.
Fun fact: Jenn volunteers as transport for a domesticated rat rescue, picking them up from vet appointments or foster homes.
What did you learn from working and interacting with members of the community in Rwanda?
Joy doesn’t come from “stuff.” Joy comes from your friends, your family, your community and pride in yourself.
