Kermit Maynard

Kermit Maynard is Vice President of Corporate Development for Michael Baker’s GovTech vertical. In this role, Mr. Maynard leads strategic growth initiatives across the GovTech portfolio, with a focus on market expansion, strategic partnerships and acquisition opportunities that scale the firm’s technology and software-driven offerings.

Working closely with executive leadership, he aligns corporate strategy across sales, technology and delivery organizations to ensure disciplined go-to-market execution and long-term value creation for public sector clients. His responsibilities include portfolio strategy, platform and product alignment, inorganic growth and the integration of digital capabilities across Michael Baker’s engineering and consulting businesses.

Prior to Michael Baker, Mr. Maynard held senior enterprise roles across cloud, SaaS and AI-focused technology companies, bringing deep experience in enterprise and public sector markets, complex deal execution and customer-led growth strategies. He began his career in technical and operational roles and served in the U.S. Navy as an Information Technician, shaping a mission-oriented approach to leadership and execution.
