Mo Shaik is an expert in risk mitigation, management and coordination of large projects through the total life cycle – from planning and procurement to design and construction. As Office Manager for Michael Baker International’s Charleston, West Virginia, office, he advises the West Virginia Department of Transportation (WVDOT) and manages horizontal infrastructure design-build, turnkey design-build and traditional projects, ranging from $200 million to $1 billion.
Mo has more than 20 years of experience serving federal, state, local and private clients, with expertise in planning, budgeting, scheduling and managing personnel and engineering work to ensure effective coordination of projects and compliance with state and federal regulations, industry standards and client specifications. His leadership and program management skills led to Michael Baker being selected as the corridor program manager/owner’s representative for the $1 billion+ Corridor H Project, which is the largest design-build construction project for the West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH). The project has been featured on the covers of ENR’s national and Mid-Atlantic publications.
Mo is the Alternative Delivery Committee Chair for the American Council of Engineering Companies of West Virginia (ACEC-WV) and a past board member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Huntington Post.
