Patty Dunaway, P.E.

Patty began her career serving the public at Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) as a scholarship student while obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky. She spent 27 years at KYTC, then joined Michael Baker International in 2018. In her role as Office Executive, Patty is responsible for all operations and engineering work performed for Michael Baker in Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia. She is passionate about mentoring and coaching current and future transportation professionals and continues to enjoy working in the industry.

Patty is honored to represent Michael Baker and make lifelong memories while serving the people of Rwanda. She lives in Leitchfield, Kentucky, with her husband, and her most beloved engagement is serving her family.

Fun fact: Patty loves spending all of her free time with her four grandchildren.

It was an amazing opportunity and experience for me both personally and professionally. Getting to be a part of something much greater than myself and my everyday life/work is truly inspiring.
