Located in Odessa, Texas’ Leeco Industrial Park, the new $50 million facility for Liberty Energy’s Liberty Oilfield Services regional headquarters will feature a 42-bay maintenance workshop, a six-bay truck wash facility, a warehouse and a two-story administrative office building (featuring a dedicated employee training center). The new facility will allow Liberty Energy to more efficiently deliver its services and train crews across its expansive West Texas operations.
The Michael Baker engineering design team provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) and IT/data security design services for this new facility. Significant project features included sand/oil separator design, dedicated power for specialized facility equipment, natural gas piping design, compressed air piping design and multiple design packages.
The design-build approach utilized by the team allowed the project to navigate the procurement process while at the same time providing strong project coordination to meet the client’s accelerated delivery timeline.
