Quantic Wenzel

Michael Baker was chosen for the renovation of Quantic Wenzel’s warehouse and office building in Austin, Texas. Warehouse areas included a shaker room, special processing room, a machine shop, a shipping and receiving department and an advanced cleanroom. The office scope of the project included private offices, open offices, conference rooms and a breakroom.

The cleanroom was designed to class 100,000 ISO8 standards featuring air changes at 20 per hour (0.33 air changes per minute) with a 99.97% Hepa filter efficiency and a 4-5% coverage rate. Air returns were installed in the T-Bar grid ceilings along with 2’x4’ standard light fixtures.

Quantic Wenzel’s frequency control and timing products are designed into mission-critical military, space and commercial applications, and perform in the most extreme environments. Quantic Wenzel has set the standard for ultra-low phase noise crystal oscillators, a portfolio complemented by a range of advanced frequency sources and integrated microwave assemblies to 30 GHz and beyond, all of which facilitated the need for renovation to meet newer and more advanced standards.
