Michael Baker joined forces with ROAR architects of London to provide mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), technology, acoustic and fire-life safety design for the Family Care Authority Headquarters in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Family Care Authority was established in Abu Dhabi to provide specialized and centralized services in response to families’ needs in the Emirates. The design covered 70,000 square feet spanning five floors. Spaces which were designed for included: ground floor reception and kids’ zone, a fourth floor featuring a second reception desk, cafe with gathering space and office spaces with a yoga room.
