Stefano Esposito Appointed Chief Product Officer (CPO) for Michael Baker International’s GovTech Vertical

Seasoned technology executive to lead firm’s AI‑native product strategy for government modernization

PITTSBURGH (April 17, 2026) – Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, consulting and digital solutions, today announced that Stefano Esposito has been appointed Chief Product Officer (CPO) for Michael Baker International’s GovTech vertical. In this role, Mr. Esposito will drive product strategy, mature the firm’s development discipline and advance an AI-native approach where AI is embedded by design. He will partner closely with Michael Baker’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) organization to connect innovation to the firm’s broader enterprise strategy.

Mr. Esposito has 35 years of entrepreneurial, management and Information Technology experience and proven success delivering enterprise software solutions in various industries including Transportation, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Mortgage and Finance. He is the co-founder of Aura Solutions, LLC, a Michael Baker International Company, a software development and IT consulting company with cross-functional industry experience, and AstreaX, a Michael Baker International Company. Through these companies, he has built a software and services business to serve customers across the U.S. providing a range of solutions including product development, outsourced software support and technical expertise.

Previously, Mr. Esposito served for six years as Global Technology Manager leading the Motor Vehicle Software & Systems business for 3M in the United States, and other countries. This 3M business was derived from an acquisition of Archon Technologies, Inc., which Mr. Esposito co-founded. Earlier in his career, Mr. Esposito was employed by a venture capital funded managed care organization where he served as Director of Information Systems. He was instrumental in developing strategic partnerships with various hardware and software companies including Microsoft. As a leading industry consultant, he spent years providing solutions to private organizations such as General Electric, IBM and First Interstate as well as to many U.S. government agencies.

Mr. Esposito holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, with a minor in Business Administration, from Russell Sage College. He also earned associate degrees in Mathematics and Science from Hudson Valley Community College.

Michael Baker International Names Chris Peters, P.E., S.E., as CEO

Kevin Reed, P.E., Named COO and Daniel A. Craig Named President; Leadership Team Set to Accelerate Tech-Driven Growth

PITTSBURGH (April 7, 2026) – Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, consulting and digital solutions, today announced executive leadership appointments to accelerate its next phase of technology-driven, client-focused growth.

Chris Peters, P.E., S.E., has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. He joined Michael Baker in November 2025 as Chief Operating Officer and brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in the architectural, engineering and consulting industry, including serving as Chief Operating Officer of WSP USA.

As COO, Mr. Reed will lead firmwide operations across Michael Baker’s four lines of business – Infrastructure; Integrated Design and Advisory (IDA); Mitigation, Environmental, Resiliency, Response and Recovery (MER3); and GovTech. He joined the firm in 2025 and will focus on technical and operational excellence, elevating performance, advancing enterprise systems and strengthening collaboration to support scalable growth.

As President, Mr. Craig will focus on growth in existing and emerging markets, client partnerships and technology-driven initiatives. He brings extensive experience in government services and emergency management, including his previous role as CEO of Tidal Basin Group and its operating division, MLU Services.

As Chief Strategy Officer, Mr. Vickers will lead the firm’s enterprise strategic planning framework, refining market focus and guiding the translation of the company’s long‑term vision into decisive priorities, investments and actions that drive long-term value creation for its clients. Earlier in her career, Ms. Thamizharasan was Senior Project Manager for CDM Smith and Senior Transportation Project Engineer for Tetra Tech.

He earned a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering – Structures, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University.

In his role of Office Executive for North Carolina, Mr. Gray will lead the firm’s operations throughout North Carolina, where there are offices located in Asheville, Cary, Charlotte and Greensboro. Led by U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, the Beautifying Transportation Infrastructure Council advises on policies, designs and funding priorities that beautify transportation infrastructure, including highways, bridges and transit hubs, while maintaining safety and efficiency. The seven-member council provides recommendations and guidance supporting the U.S. Department of Transportation’s commitment to enhancing the visual quality, community integration and overall experience of the nation’s transportation infrastructure. As a Council Member, Mr. Quintanilla will identify best practices, develop aesthetic performance metrics and advise on projects that enhance public spaces and reflect local character.

Mr. Quintanilla has 27 years of experience in architecture, urban design and planning and currently leads Michael Baker’s Design Hub, which convenes the firm’s in-house expertise in urban design, environmental responsibility, mobility and community-based planning to deliver innovative and integrated solutions that build more livable communities. He specializes in master planning, community engagement and creating public spaces that strengthen neighborhood identity while integrating essential infrastructure.

Mr. Quintanilla’s portfolio spans projects of all scales across both national and international markets. Notable work includes the design of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission Sideling Hill Service Plaza Trailhead in Fulton County, Pennsylvania, as well as the design of Central Park in East Palestine, Ohio, where he collaborated with freight railroad operator Norfolk Southern, city officials and residents. He also led the transformation of Lincoln Square in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, expanding pedestrian space while preserving the area’s historic character and adding safe crosswalks.

Internationally, Mr. Quintanilla served nearly five years as Director of Design for the Prince’s Foundation for Building Communities in England, under the auspices of the Prince of Wales (now His Majesty the King). He managed projects in Jamaica, China, Korea, Ecuador and the UK, including the redesign of ShiJia Hutong in Beijing, China, into a museum and the Galapagos Initiative, where he drafted form-based codes for the most populated town, created a sustainable water recycling solution and redesigned streets to accommodate tourists, bicycles and cars in the Galapagos, Ecuador.

Mr. Quintanilla holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Miami. He is on the Executive Committee of the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, a board member of the City of Pittsburgh Planning Commission and Contextual Design Advisory Panel (CDAP) and Chair of the National Complete Streets Coalition.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Moghbel was the Lead Technical Product Manager at Mimik Technology, where he led AI and digital platform modernization initiatives, creating faster, more scalable solutions for industries like automotive, energy, and health—accelerating revenue growth, speeding development cycles, improving reliability and driving user adoption and new product capabilities across multiple global platforms.

Mr. Moghbel studied Design Thinking at the MIT Sloan School of Management and Full-Stack Software Development at the University of Toronto. He holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Ottawa.

Michael Baker International Welcomes Eric Jorgensen as Vice President and Digital Government Practice Lead

Mr. Jorgensen to lead the expansion of the firm’s Digital Government solutions

PITTSBURGH (February 6, 2026) – Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, consulting and digital solutions, today announced that Eric Jorgensen joined the firm as Vice President and Digital Government Practice Lead. In this role, Mr. Jorgensen will lead Michael Baker’s client engagement strategies to expand its Digital Government portfolio with new and existing clients, while strengthening relationships to reinforce the firm’s position as a trusted advisor delivering a full breadth of integrated solutions and services as One Michael Baker. Additionally, Mr. Jorgensen will partner with local and regional leadership to align technical capabilities with market needs and client expectations. He will foster cross-discipline collaboration to deliver integrated solutions and leverage the technology capabilities of Michael Baker and its family of companies.

Mr. Jorgensen has more than 20 years of experience in state government and operations. Prior to joining Michael Baker, he served as the Arizona Department of Transportation’s Motor Vehicle Division Director for 10 years. Previously, he also served in Arizona state government as Deputy Director for Administration for the Arizona Department of Child Safety, and Chief Financial Officer, Benefit Services, for the Arizona Department of Administration. As Assistant Director for the Arizona Joint Legislative Budget Committee, he was charged with oversight of the entire budget process. Earlier in his career, Mr. Jorgensen was Principal of ERJorgensen Consulting, where he provided data management and analysis solutions to diverse clients, from small local businesses to large multinational companies.

Mr. Jorgensen earned a Master of International Affairs degree in Economic Policy from the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Political Science from Brigham Young University.
