Michael Baker International Names Ankur Singh Office Executive – Detroit

PITTSBURGH (July 29, 2025) – Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, consulting and technology services, today announced that Ankur Singh has joined the firm as Office Executive – Detroit. In this role, Mr. Singh will lead operations in the Detroit, Michigan, metro area, deepening client engagement, expanding services and fostering an inclusive culture of continuous learning and collaboration. Mr. Singh most recently was a Project Manager at Traylor Brothers, Inc., where he was part of the Kiewit Massman Traylor team working on the I-10 Mobile River Bridge preconstruction phase. Previously, he served as a Project Manager at Fluor Corporation, where he contributed to major infrastructure initiatives. Throughout his tenure, he assumed progressively greater responsibilities across numerous high-profile projects. He also was an Associate Structural Engineer at Parsons earlier in his career.

Mr. Singh earned a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Nagpur University (India). He is a Board Member of the American Society of Engineers of Indian Origin and a Head Coach for First Robotics’ First Tech Challenge Team.

PITTSBURGH (July 18, 2025) – Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, consulting and technology services, today announced that Shara Castillo, RA, AIA, has joined the firm as Vice President and Architecture Design Principal within the Integrated Design and Advisory business vertical, which includes the firm’s Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Structural Engineering and Fire Protection Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, Commissioning, Cost Management and Planning services. She also collaborated with cross-functional teams representing manufacturing, engineering and product development to ensure the seamless execution of design solutions. Ms. Castillo previously spent nearly 15 years as an Architect and Principal with the premier architecture firm Zimmer Gunsul Frasca (ZGF).

She is also a former co-owner and principal of designAlliance, which was acquired by AECOM.

In this role, he oversaw a diverse array of water resources projects and pursuits for federal, state and municipal clients.

Mr. Bagha earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology in Nagpur, India, and a Master of Engineering degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He served for four years on the Texas Floodplain Management Association (TFMA) Board of Directors for Region 8, which includes 15 counties along the Gulf Coast and Harris County, Texas.

Michael Baker International Names Fareeha Kibriya Office Executive – Los Angeles and Long Beach

Ms. Kibriya’s expertise includes infrastructure and energy work, university campus facilities, public and private land planning, and environmental compliance. She is a seasoned California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) practitioner who has led the significant growth of her team since joining Michael Baker as Department Manager – Planning four years ago. Before joining Michael Baker, Ms. Kibriya held roles as a Policy and Environmental Planner and Associate Vice President – Environmental Planning at AECOM.

Ms. Kibriya earned a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree, as well as Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Sociology, from the University of California, Irvine.
