Michael Baker International Promotes William Neider, P.E., to National Mining and Reclamation Practice Manager

Versatile leader with deep expertise in mining-related projects to spearhead growth of Abandoned Mine Lands business and oversee innovative, community focused reclamation initiatives nationwide

PITTSBURGH (January 28, 2026) – Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, consulting and digital solutions, today announced that William Neider, P.E., has been promoted to National Mining and Reclamation Practice Manager. In this role, Mr. Neider will spearhead the growth of Michael Baker’s Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) business, positioning the firm to capture new opportunities by engaging private mining operators and multiple state abandoned mine reclamation agencies to broaden the client base across the mining and reclamation sectors. He will lead the firm’s efforts to provide high quality, timely and innovative solutions for its mining and reclamation clients, enhancing Michael Baker’s reputation as a forward-thinking leader in the industry. Additionally, he will partner with Office Executives and Regional Directors across the company to strengthen local relationships and activate cross-office teams to deliver impactful, community-focused reclamation programs.

Mr. Neider is a versatile leader with deep expertise in mining-related projects, as well as decades of experience managing and designing infrastructure across a wide range of sectors including commercial, military, residential, industrial and educational and brings nearly 30 years of experience to his new role. He joined Michael Baker in 2009 as a Project Manager and has progressively grown his responsibilities and expertise, first as Land Development Manager, and most recently as Director of Land Development. Earlier in his career, he was a Civil Engineer and Project Manager for MS Consultants.

Mr. Neider is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers. He earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering from Youngstown State University.

Data center-focused industry leader and expert joins firm’s Integrated Design and Advisory business vertical

Michael Baker International Selected by U.S. Army to Develop NG9-1-1 GIS and Addressing Data at 54 Army Installations

Firm, with support from portfolio company DATAMARK Technologies, to deliver NENA, SDSFIE and USPS-compliant GIS and addressing data to enhance emergency response capabilities across CONUS locations

PITTSBURGH (December 16, 2025) – Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, consulting and technology services, today announced that the firm, with support from portfolio company DATAMARK Technologies, has been selected by the U.S. Army’s Product Director Base Emergency Communications System (PD BECS), Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, and Network (PEO C3N) to support Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) modernization at Continental United States (CONUS) installations by developing Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) Geographic Information System (GIS) and addressing data at 54 Army installations. As part of this effort, the team will collaborate closely with the U.S. Army and their Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic support to produce road centerlines, address points and emergency service boundaries that comply with National Emergency Number Association (NENA), Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure and Environment (SDSFIE) and United States Postal Service (USPS) standards.

This initiative will deliver advanced NG9-1-1 GIS data and information for 9-1-1 call management and Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems designed to improve the speed, accuracy and reliability of emergency communications for military personnel and surrounding communities. Once complete, the upgraded systems and GIS data will ensure that emergency calls from landlines, mobile phones and internet-based devices are routed quickly and accurately with dispatchable location data to guide first responders, while being resilient against outages and capable of seamless coordination with other military and civilian emergency networks. By integrating GIS-based mapping, mobile applications and real-time data sharing, the project will streamline response efforts across the U.S. Army’s emergency infrastructure.

As part of this project, a combined team assembled from more than 300 GIS professionals from Michael Baker’s Geospatial Practice and DATAMARK Technologies will work together as One Michael Baker to provide local addressing program coordination with installation GIS teams, GIS data creation, data remediation, boundary facilitation and coordination with municipal PSAP and GIS departments, GIS quality control and validation and data development to support the U.S. Army’s CAD systems.

The project is a multi-year task order running through August 2030.

Mr. Stuart has performed and managed transportation planning studies and traffic engineering design services for hundreds of projects across the country. His experience includes traffic impact studies, multimodal mobility studies, highway and intersection capacity analyses, deficiency analyses, safety analyses, as well as pedestrian and bikeway safety improvement studies. He joined Michael Baker in 2006 and most recently served as a Technical Manager – Traffic. Earlier in his career, he was a transportation engineer for the City of Durham, North Carolina and was responsible for the administration and operation of the City’s signal system, as well as project planning and plan review.

Mr. Stuart is a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers and the Institute of Transportation Engineers. In 2019, he was a finalist for the Chairman’s Award, Michael Baker’s highest honor. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Hill was The LPA Group’s Construction Services Manager for the Southeast Region. He was responsible for the startup of the construction services group in the southeast. He has also held roles with various firms as Program Manager, Project Manager/Estimator and Office Engineer.

Mr. Hill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Louisiana State University. He is a graduate of the Leadership Cobb program sponsored by the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce, and he obtained a Certified Construction Manager designation from the Construction Management Association of America.

Ms. Gray has more than 20 years of experience in resilience planning and environmental strategy, including 15 years in various roles in Florida government, from city level to statewide agencies, with a focus on working with local governments. She joined Michael Baker in 2021 as Florida’s Statewide Resilience Program Manager. Prior to joining the company, she built the resilience program at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, culminating with the creation of the Resilient Florida program that included a grant program which has, to date, served over $2 billion dollars in state and federal funds to Florida’s local governments. Ms. Gray also held previous resilience positions at Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Southwest Florida Regional Planning Council.

Ms. Gray earned a Master of Science degree in Systems Ecology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Florida. She is also a member of the Association of State Floodplain Managers and Florida Floodplain Managers Association.

His oversight of the CS team also extended to Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin and Minnesota. He has also served as Interim Office Executive – Chicago since June 2025. He has 18 years of experience in the engineering industry and has worked throughout the Midwest, Canada and Saudi Arabia, most recently as Vice President of Construction Services for Interra, Inc. Earlier in his career, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Hampton, Lenzini and Renwick, Inc. (HLR) and V3 Companies.

As an industry leader, Mr. Rodseth is actively involved with the Illinois Road & Transportation Builders Association, American Council of Engineering Companies and American Public Works Association’s Suburban Branch, where he serves as President. Experienced leader brings proven leadership and strategic vision to advance the company’s One Michael Baker Approach and Vision 2030 goals

PITTSBURGH (November 13, 2025) – Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, consulting and technology services, today announced the appointment of Kevin Reed, P.E., as President. In this role, Mr. Reed will lead company-wide growth initiatives that drive expansion and innovation across all capabilities – from bridge design to digital twin technologies – through a unified, One Michael Baker Approach. He will focus on identifying emerging markets, strengthening new and existing client partnerships and leveraging data-driven insights to pursue high-impact growth opportunities in close collaboration with the firm’s market leaders.

Mr. Reed joins Michael Baker from WSP USA, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President – U.S. Operations and Delivery Executive and Interim Transportation Business Line Executive, leading more than 5,000 team members across the country. He was responsible for supporting all operational and delivery activities, delivery processes and procedures, staff management, and project operations for all business lines for WSP USA. Earlier in his career, Mr. Reed held positions of increasing responsibility at HNTB.

Mr. Reed earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Washington State University. He was a board member and Past President of the American Council of Engineering Companies San Diego Chapter.
